Five Mobile Racers Worth Your Thumb Right Now

Mobile racers live or die on two things: the sense of speed and whether the controls fight you. Get both right and even a simple track feels great. Get either wrong and no amount of flashy cars will save it.

Our current favorite for raw feel is a drift-focused arcade racer that turns every corner into a scoring opportunity. We tried both tilt and touch controls and ended up preferring touch for the precision, but it's nice to have the choice.

If you want something with more progression, look for racers where upgrades actually change the handling instead of just nudging a top-speed number. You should feel the difference the moment you get back on the track.
